AQUATOTS Swim program is an original and proven method of teaching infants swimming skills, dating back to the 1960s.

Nell White, the founder-director of AQUATOTS Swim Program is a pioneer in infant swim teaching. Contrary to the harsh teaching methods used years ago, Nell developed a distinctly loving and child-centered teaching method. The AQUATOTS Swim Program way of learning to swim through playing in water drew widespread attention. This, together with a commitment to the recommendation for infant aquatics issued by the American Academy of Paediatrics, ultimately led to AQUATOTS Swim Program making its mark on the world scene at the World Aquatic Babies Conference in Los Angeles in 1993. It has held its position to this day, as one of the foremost infant swim teaching methods in the world.

AQUATOTS Morningside is a Registered AQUATOTS Swim school. It is owned and run by physiotherapist and mom, Leanne Mc Laren. Leanne has been fortunate to have worked under the close guidance and teaching of Nell White for 11 years.

In 2014 SWIM TOTS was registered as the home of AQUATOTS Morningside. A Swim School focusing on babies, toddlers and special needs children. SWIM TOTS swim school keeps up to date with research in the Paediatric and swimming world. SWIM TOTS proves that learning to swim is therapy and therapy is learning to swim.
